FAQs
What is the dress code for the wedding?
- Ladies, wear a nice dress- like Sunday best or going out for a nice dinner. No formal attire needed.
- Guys- pants and a collared shirt. Your choice on a tie and jacket. No shorts, t-shirts or tuxes!
- Abbey Road Catering is providing hors d'oeuvres for the wedding. There will be enough to make a mini- meal but if 7:30 is too late for your dinner- eat before coming and have a late snack with us.
- Cake is by Amy Cakes of Norman. Classic flavors along with a surprise or two.
- Ceremony: a mix of traditional with an Aaron and Sara twist
- Reception: Eating, dancing, and some exhibit seeing!
- Aaron and I are happy that so many of our family and friends are able to attend our event. Your presence is present enough! However if you still want to spoil us (really there is no need) we are registered at Target and Bed, Bath, & Beyond. We are also saving up our cash for a much needed dining room table.
- Rules about the museum: Sam Noble has some specific rules about the museum. One that will affect you, as a guest, the most will be that no wrapped gifts may enter the ceremony and reception area. Once you enter the museum you will see the tall desk and may leave your gift there. We will gather them up at the end of the night and be amazed at the lavishness of our friends.

Invites Out- sorta
I've gotten some of the wedding invites in the mail this week and the rest, *hopefully, will go out next week! See the back of the pink insert for RSVP information.
As a wedding guest, I have two questions:
1) Any questions you have about the event? I am going to make a post later about FAQ.
2) Any particular song you would like to hear at the reception?
You may leave an anon. comment!

The Players, I mean Attendents
Ashley Edge- Matron of Honor, Sister-in-law, Mommy to GabbiElla and Rylin (the bestest kids ever)
Let's start off easy: Favorite wedding food? Wedding Cake, that is what makes most weddings individual... each cake says something about the couple!!
Best part of weddings? Falling in Love all over, I know I'm a hopeless Romantic, but something about weddings just reminds me of how you fell in love the first time!!
Is this title a honor or hindrance? Definitely an Honor! Why? Of everyone you know you chose me to stand beside you on the most important day of your life and be a part of it all!! Love it!!
How long have you known the bride?
Best memory with her? I have known Sara for a little over four years and I have so many great memories with her, there are just too many to list... I would have to say that the best memory would have to be our first Black Friday together. Donna and Sara took this poor small-town girl out shopping at Quail Springs Mall and I totally thought I was lost... of course Sara and Donna had their eyes on me but I sure thought I was Lost!! We have so many memories though Laughter fills our lives!! (Editors note- Ashley also said "This is the first time I've ever been in a two story mall before!" Then Mom told her about the food court being on a lower level- her face was priceless!)
Disney character that reminds you of Sara? Well in the words of my 3 year old Princess I would have to say that you remind me most of Tiana. She knows what she wants and has goals that she sets for herself and reaches them! I'm super glad to have you as a sister!
Words of wisdom for Aaron and Sara? Three things will last forever--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love 1 Corinthians 13:13
Remember your love for each other each and every day.
God has brought you two together to walk this journey of life together.
Remember to never go to sleep angry, always settle your differences.
Remember that marriage is work it's not easy but it is worth it.
Love is not always easy but just remember that it is always worth it! Remember that most of all!
Life is about living so live it to your fullest!
(Picture of Sara and Ashley coming soon).
Brett Zielke- Best Man, Best Friend of Aaron, Future Groom (April 7, 2012!)
Let's start off easy: Favorite wedding food? Those little tortilla roll-up things.
Best part of weddings? Dancing! (Also drinking).
Is this title a honor or hindrance? Why? It's an honor, he is my Other Brother after all.
How long have you known the groom? We started hanging out our junior year of college... so since 2007-ish?
Best memory with him? Way too many to narrow down. Although if I had to choose, it'd probably be that OU game, with the holding call, and his mother there... He knows the one.
Disney character that reminds you of Aaron? Um, I dunno... Donald Duck maybe? Why couldn't it be Star Wars characters? He's totally the Chewbacca to my Han Solo. Or vice-versa if he wants to be Han.
Words of wisdom for Aaron and Sara? Communication is absolutely key to a successful marriage. Also Sexy Time. But mainly communication.

Proposal Story
Okay for those of you needing details on the proposal here they are!
Aaron and I had planned on having a Tuesday night date. For us that means a home cooked meal followed by NCIS. Aaron told me on Sunday that he was cooking dinner and I said that was great. We assembled dinner and chit chatted about the upcoming weekend with his family since they were coming in for his graduation. He said following dinner he wanted to take a quick walk to break in his new shoes.
After dinner we walked outside and it was sprinkling so Aaron said, "Let's give it a few minutes, I think it will clear up." I said "fine" and we both started working on our computers. About 10 minutes later he said, "Okay, let's go". I said "Aaron, it's still sprinkling, why don't we watch NCIS?" Aaron "No, no it's fine, let's go."
